Dear Friends and Mission Partners,

I want to make the urgency more clear now than ever before:  Now is God’s timing for Pakistan, this land is open for the Gospel now!
Let’s use this time wisely and reach as many souls as possible because the openness to the Gospel is hanging from a thread and at any moment the door could be closed again.

I have just received the following report from our Pakistan organizer telling of the present situation in Pakistan.

Dear Bernd,
I hope, you have heard about the present unrest going on in Pakistan.
In last 3 days, 41 people died in the unrest sparked by a campaign for the reinstatement of the chief judge.
Today, in a bomb blast in hotel in Peshawar 24 people have been killed. This has caused so much harassment in the whole country.
 
We have organized a prayer meeting here in the morning tomarrow for Pakistan, specially for the above mentioned situation.
I will appreciate, if you could remember this situation in your prayers. If possible, you can inform to partner to intercede for Pakistan.

In Pakistan, the government is trying to pass a law that demands for men to be put to death if they should convert from Islam to any other religion.
This law was passed in parliament already.
For women, this law requests a life long sentence to prison.

And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

Dear Mission Partners and Friends,

I’m forever grateful that God gave us His Word, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my Words will by no means pass away.”  His Word will always stand!

The Lord has proven one thing clear throughout His the Bible:  When it has to do with evangelism, He’s always on our side – no questions asked.   That is His promise to us, and His promises always remain!

Even when we feel weak and insufficient, can’t feel His presence or sense His power, His Word is His guarantee.  Regardless of our emotions, He is at work, touching the hearts and lives of those people, who He places in our paths. 

While writing these lines I pray that the Lord helps you to take your focus away from yourself and onto Him, enabling you to truly testify of Him, not through sight, but by your faith in His Word, no matter what circumstance you are in or how you are feeling.
